THE STORY
The unbroken seal on King Tutankhamun’s tomb, 1922The tomb of King Tutankhamen was secured by a rope and a seal. This seal stayed unbroken for 3,245 years. Designer Sal Knight who is known for his passion for jewelry making, historical art and Mythology was inspired by the seal that protected the Pharaoh. After months of sketching and carving, we are pleased to share with our work, which was created in the same manner fine jewelry are made, using the finest precious metal ingredients and finest genuine leathers. Each piece is 100% handmade and one of a kind.

THE ELEMENTS

The Seal represents the God of the underworld enslaving whom ever harms the barrier of the seal.

the two columns one represent strength and the second represent wisdom.

This seal was actually a seal to King Tut’s fifth shrine. The king was buried in a series of four sarcophagi, which were in turn kept inside a series of five shrines. This unbroken seal stayed 3,245 years untouched. The late discovery of Tut’s tomb resulted from the fact that it was covered by debris from that of Ramesses IV which was located directly above its entrance.

This kind of beetle was highly symbolic to ancient Egyptians, it represented rebirth and renewal. They believed that the sun was pushed across the sky every day by a giant scarab
